WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff remains one of the most well-known names in all of professional wrestling. That is why many take his opinion seriously, even if he tends to say controversial things at times.

AEW has certainly come a long way after its inception back in 2019. They have strived to provide an alternative to WWE and succeeded in it for the most part.

Reports suggested that Tony Khan will opt to let the stars’ contracts expire and not utilize them, instead of allowing them to jump ship. This was met with a lot of backlash from fans

While speaking during the most recent episode of the 83 Weeks Podcast, Eric Bischoff ripped talent who feel frustrated with not being given a lot of television time.

“Be ready for your opportunity. Injuries are a thing. Contract issues are a thing. HR issues are a thing. Just because you’re at the bottom of the card or you’re not getting as much television time as you think you deserve, keep your nose to the grindstone. You’re getting paid good money and you’re not on the road 300 days a year.

I don’t have sympathy for talent who are frustrated. How many people in the world would do anything to change places with you? And guess what? They wouldn’t be b*tching about how much TV time they’re not getting.”

Tony Khan will continue to believe that AEW will be proper competition to WWE, and perhaps he will be right one day. However, that day is still far from happening right now.
