The pro wrestling world is always evolving, and that can open the door for new programming. The Women of Wrestling show recently started up, but how is their viewership doing?

Wrestlenomincs reported the ratings for the first episodes of WOW, and they have a lot to grow from at this point. It seems that less than 300k fans were interested in seeing what the program had to offer.

The first episode of Women of Wrestling (WOW) on September 18 was watched by 281,000 viewers in syndication via CBS Media Ventures across the U.S. It was watched by 44,000 aged 18 to 49, or a 0.03 P18-49 rating

The second episode, on September 25 was watched by 273,000 viewers. In P18-49, it had 79,000 viewers, or a 0.06 rating.

This is not the best showing for the new pro wrestling show, but they haven’t received the best press. Tess Blanchard was involved with the company, but she was let go as more stories of her toxicity flowed out of the situation.

We’ll have to see if viewership improves, but they certainly have a lot of growing to do if they want to compete in today’s pro wrestling landscape.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
