D-Generation X were an important part of Monday Night RAW during the Attitude Era. The group was famous for performing outlandish pranks that were hilarious.

In fact, DX’s crotch chop taunt became an integral part of pop culture with many fans and celebrities copying the move. Fast forward many years later and three members of the group hold prominent backstage roles in WWE.

While DX may have accumulated many fans over the years, it looks like former WWE personality Vince Russo isn’t one of them. In a recent episode of The Wrestling Outlaws show, Vince remembered an old episode where Shawn Michaels introduced two new members of DX: Chyna’s implants. Russo also mentioned that he found it funny that people like Shawn Michaels are the ones running the show.

Vince Russo further stated that he has been backballed by the wrestling industry due to his unwillingness to sell out.

“I’m the bad guy because I’m stating the obvious. I’m making a fraction of what they made and I’ve been blackballed by the [wrestling] industry because I’m not going to sell out. I’m not going to compromise myself, my opinions, and who I am to conform and make a million dollars a year. I ain’t going to do it, bro.”

DX is set to have a reunion this Monday night on RAW to celebrate their 25th anniversary. While Road Dogg, X-Pac, Shawn Michaels, and Triple will make the reunion celebration, Billy Gunn will be missing from the show due to his contractual obligations with AEW.
