AEW President Tony Khan is very passionate about pro wrestling and that is without question. However, Khan tends to say some very bizarre things that make fans question his sanity.

Tony Khan has lost favor with fans over the past year or so. This is mainly due to the fact he keeps on saying a lot of weird things and questionable booking and business decisions.

Tony Khan has no desire to be featured on AEW programming regularly, as he only appears after AEW Dynamite and Rampage ends in order to address the crowd or make some announcement.

While speaking on “The Ariel Helwani Show, Tony Khan talked about his sporadic appearances on AEW television. Khan claimed that he only appears on television when it’s necessary.

I am a device, and when it is necessary, it can be a very effective one,” Khan said. “We’ve done 160 episodes. I have made all of four appearances in 160 episodes. All of them did about a million [viewers]. Really, every time they were very necessary. Some involved a little bit of talking, some involved really none. The only four times I’ve been on the show were, the most regrettable, was at the end of the Brodie Lee tribute show. Then there was the purchase of Ring of Honor, there was the announcement of the Forbidden Door, and there was the announcement of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions.”

Eric Bischoff also previously blasted Tony Khan for trying to put himself over. We will have to wait and see what Khan will have planned for AEW next.
