During the post AEW All Out 2022 media scrum event, CM Punk didn’t hold back as he took shots at Colt Cabana, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page. These comments resulted in a backstage altercation between all parties during which Ace Steel bit Kenny Omega’s arm and also threw a chair at Nick Jackson that hit him in the eye.

As a result, all the members involved in the altercation were suspended indefinitely and also stripped off their respective titles.

This resulted in an investigation being conducted around the altercation. Speaking to Variety, Tony Khan, when asked about the situation, answered by saying he can’t comment on it as the investigation is ongoing.

Later on in the interview, Tony Khan opened up about how he gained more confidence towards the end of AEW Dynamite’s first year.

“That was when I started to say, ‘You know, a lot of these setbacks were very preventable. And there were things that I didn’t even want to do in the first place. So I just said going forward that I’m only going to do ideas that I feel good about. … As I gained experience in wrestling, I started to gain more confidence.”

It looks like we will have to wait in order to see if there are any serious repercussions for those involved in the incident. If anything, it sure got a lot of people talking.
