Drew McIntyre is certainly one of the top Superstars in WWE, and he clearly loves his profession. He won the WWE Champion twice and continues to be a beloved star. That being said, he also gets sometimes frustrated for a good reason.

The Scottish Warrior has been engaged in a feud with Karrion Kross ever since the latter returned to WWE a couple of months ago. On a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown, McIntyre was confronted by Kross and Scarlett, and that resulted in quite a melee.

It also included a botched fire paper spot. While speaking with My San Antonio, Drew McIntyre admitted that the fire paper botch was frustrating.

“It is frustrating when it is something that should be ready to go on a live television show. But at the same time, it is a live television show, and it is not my first day. So, I know things don’t always go like they are supposed to go. Hence, why I didn’t fall down and hold my face because I don’t trust anything after 20 years in wrestling. I just reacted until I knew everything is OK, and then someone got the cue, and it was not OK. So, I called what I had to call, and we got the save at the end and got the bad guy reaction and putting some heat on the new characters on the show.”

WWE originally had different plans for the botched segment in question. We will have to wait and see how Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross’ feud will develop in the coming weeks.
