Liv Morgan won the Money In The Bank match and then cashed it in on Ronda Rousey on the same night. She finally achieved her dreams and became the Smackdown Women’s Champion.

The former Riott Squad member retained her title against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam under controversial circumstances. This led to her getting booed by fans.

She is still getting polarizing responses from fans but seems used to it now. While speaking with Metro, Morgan commented on these mixed reactions and noted that it is not personal for her, while she compared herself to John Cena.

“It’s ok! I understand the reaction in a weird way, so I didn’t take it personally, necessarily. The funny thing is, in wrestling, in WWE, all you want is a reaction. So, even though it maybe wasn’t the desired reaction, it’s still polarising. As long as we’re getting a reaction, I’m ok! And I’m still champion, so I’m more than OK.

He’s the best of the best, who’s considered the ultimate babyface, went through years and years and years of “Let’s go Cena, Cena sucks”. So, if that’s how I’m treated, I will be ok with that.”

Liv Morgan will defend the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title against Ronda Rousey at the upcoming Extreme Rules Premium Live Event on October 8th. We’ll have to see how she fares in the match.
