NJPW and AEW have worked together on multiple occasions. The two companies have seen so many come across the border to display their exceptional skills. It looks like the trend will continue.

Juice Robinson is the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion of the NJPW promotion. He became champion after defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, and Jon Moxley at the New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Capital Collision pay-per-view.

This week’s AEW Dynamite will feature a match between Robinson and Moxley who will face off one-on-one in All Elite Wrestling. The announcement was made by AEW President and CEO Tony Khan via Twitter.

The contest is non-title, but if Robinson beats Moxley then he gets the opportunity to challenge the AEW Champion for his championship. He will not be the only one eyeing the title as “Hangman” Adam Page and MJF have won a Golden Ticket Battle Royal and Casino Ladder Match respectively to challenge the champion.

Page will challenge the champion on the October 18th episode of Dynamite, while MJF can cash in the poker chip for an AEW World Title Match whenever he pleases. Here’s the match card for the show as of this writing:

  • AEW World Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Juice Robinson
  • Fans will hear from Saraya
  • MJF will appear
  • Chris Jericho championship celebration
