WWE Used Aliyah’s Absence To Turn Shotzi Blackheart Babyface

Shotzi Blackheart had a memorable time in NXT, and she managed to become a fan-favorite there. Her character work and in-ring skills helped her reach that point as well.

Aliyah had been paired up with Raquel Rodriquez for the past few months. Aliyah was recently out of action due to injury. During Smackdown last week, Shotzi Blackheart saved Raquel Rodriquez and turned babyface.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE might have used Aliyah’s injury to turn her into a babyface.

Aliyah is out of action, and it appears Shotzi will be put in her spot as Rodriguez’s tag team partner. But that may not be the case, as they may just have wanted to turn back Shotzi.

We will have to wait and see how Shotzi Blackheart will be booked in the coming weeks, as she might just turn back into a heel again.
