Solo Sikoa won the NXT North American Championship in shocking fashion during the final episode of NXT 2.o last week. The Street Champion defended the title on SmackDown as well.

Sikoa was forced to relinquish the title tonight on NXT. The Street Champion handed over the strap to Shawn Michaels. Sikoa posted a reaction tweet after his segment on the show.

I made the NA title more valuable in a WEEK then any title reign in
@WWENXT. Brought it to Smackdown with me and defended it.
Keep in mind i never lost it.

There is always more gold out there and i got my eyes set on it already.

Sami Zayn and Carmelo Hayes reacted to Sikoa relinquishing the title as well. Hayes will square off against four other man in a ladder match for the vacant NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc.
