Wardlow is definitely one of the more popular homegrown stars in AEW today. With him being the current TNT Champion and being on Dynamite regularly, it is likely he will be a World Champion one day.

The AEW that fans see in 2022 is certainly different from the AEW that fans were used to back in 2019, especially when it comes to the overall vibe and feel of the shows.

While speaking on Dynamite Download, Wardlow talked about his time in AEW. Wardlow made it clear that he wants to bring back AEW to its Day One vibe.

“It’s more important now more than ever. It was already necessary for me to turn it up, but where we are in the current state of AEW, it is even that much more important to amp it the f*** up. That’s just what it is. It’s time for everybody to step it up. Everybody that is talking about not having an opportunity, here is your opportunity. Here is everyone’s chance to step it up. It’s time to get back to the day one vibe. When it started, we were a family and we survived COVID like a family. We saw each other more than we saw our families. We’re most definitely getting back, literally just this past week, it really felt like that strong bond again. We’re on the right track now, it’s great.”

Wardlow also had a very troubling upbringing. We will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for Wardlow, as Wardlow is certainly more intense than ever now.
