WWE will return to Philadelphia for the 14th annual Extreme Rules premium live event on October 8, 2022. The company had already booked the first match for the show, and took the stakes to a whole new level tonight.

Ronda Rousey was on SmackDown for a sitdown interview with Kayla Braxton tonight. Liv Morgan appeared and said she wanted to face Rousey in an Extreme Rules match. Rousey responded with “it’ll be your funeral.”

Rousey won a fatal five-way no disqualification match to earn a shot at Liv Morgan’s SmackDown Women’s Championship. The Baddest Woman on the Planet bested Sonya Deville, Natalya, Xia Li, and Lacy Evans.
