Brian Gewirtz is a former WWE writer that worked with The Rock to give Millions and Millions of wrestling fans an opportunity to enjoy something valuable on WWE TV during the Attitude Era. The Rock was one of the biggest names of the era alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Gewirtz spoke to Riju Dasgupta about how he cannot tell the fourth-generation superstar on what name to pick or how to present herself. Gewirtz believes it is her world now, and she needs to make an impact with the fact that she would be looked upon as The Rock’s daughter.

I collaborated with Dwayne a ton, we always wrote our promos together. It’s not my place as a writer to tell [Simone], like, ‘You’re either going to use your real name or use a new identity.” It’s like, ‘What do you want to do? What does she want to do? What is she most comfortable with?’ … I can’t imagine the pressure of having to live up and a be a fourth generation star … This is her world now. This is her, you know, playground to explore and craft her own persona. So, I think ultimately, whatever decision she wants to make, that’s the right one … I’m truly excited, you know, to see how she progresses and how she, you know, introduces herself.

Simone Johnson is currently training at WWE’S Performance Center and she cut a promo during an NXT Live Event where she called herself Ava Raine and gave herself the nickname of ‘The Final Girl.’

While this is the start, things can change as and when she moves up the ladder. She is 21 years of age and needs a considerable amount of training to level up her skills. She does have cousins in the company, but it’s her individual impact that matters.

Simone represents The Samoan Dynasty which has given some legends to this business. She signed with the WWE in 2020 and has been learning under the experienced professionals at the WWE PC.

Do You think Simone will make an impact like his cousins or his father? Sound off in the comments.
