Bianca Belair started her WWE career as part of the Mae Young Classic tournament before she made a mark in NXT. Belair wasted no time in becoming a big deal in NXT as well.

Belair and Becky Lynch’s intense rivalry began at WWE SummerSlam last year, where a returning Lynch squashed Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title in 26 seconds.

Eventually, Belair beat Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38. Their feud culminated at SummerSlam this year, where Belair once again defeated Lynch to retain her title.

While speaking with Inside the Ropes, Bianca Belair talked about her year-long rivalry with Becky Lynch. The EST of WWE made it clear that she felt her rivalry was very satisfying.

“It was so satisfying. It was a long road, a very long and unpredictable road. From SummerSlam, the 26-second SummerSlam, very unpredictable, and out of nowhere, you never know where things are going to go. So for us to be able to get back to it at WrestleMania and then to get back to it again at SummerSlam, I feel like that is something that isn’t really done a whole lot, especially for the women and our feuds.

So to be able to get with Becky Lynch and have this memorable feud with her and be able to bring it back full circle to where now it started with a handshake and ended with a handshake,” she added. “The whole redemption story for me to be able to walk out with the title again after losing it in such a controversial way, it was very satisfying.”

Lynch is already working hard at the gym despite the injury. We’ll have to wait and see whether Bianca Belair will end up defending her RAW Women’s Title against Bayley or not.
