The AEW All Out media scrum ended in chaos after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks, verbally burying them in the process. It turns out that this event might further morph the pro wrestling landscape, or at least it has the capacity to do so.

Punk was then involved in a backstage brawl where he engaged in fisticuffs with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. As previously reported, AEW has suspended everyone involved in the brawl. There was also the chance of Punk and Ace Steel getting fired.

On the F4WOnline Message Board, Ryan Frederick of the Wrestling Observer pointed out that the Young Bucks had the options on their contracts picked up last year, correcting a fan who claimed they recently signed new contracts with the company. He noted that they contacted a WWE talent to send out ‘feelers’,

“They didn’t sign new deals. Their options were picked up. They did reach out to a talent to send feelers that they would be interested in talking about coming in when their deals are up. But, everyone on both sides are going to do the same because you want to look for the best deal. Anyone who doesn’t do so is dumb and possibly leaving money on the table.”

Eric Bischoff also recently blasted CM Punk for being bitter and brittle. He will also be out of action for a long time, well into next year because of the injury. Things simply don’t look good for Punk in general.
