As the world continues to move on from Covid-19, the virus can still disrupt lives and their daily activities. Even pro wrestlers are not safe from it, no matter how they try to prevent infection.

AEW’s Eddie Kingston announced on Twitter that he will miss Sunday’s NJPW Strong: Autumn Action tapings due to testing positive for COVID-19. Kingston is hopeful he’ll make the television tapings in a few days.

“So here we go, got covid won’t be able to make Strong this weekend,” Kingston tweeted. “It f–king sucks going to test again to see if I can make tv this week.”

Kingston was originally scheduled to team with Homicide and AEW star Wheeler Yuta to face Jay White and The Good Brothers. The tapings are scheduled to take place at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas. White did react to Kingston”s tweet about missing the event due to catching COVID-19.
