Mercedes Martinez Out Of Action Due To Injury

Mercedes Martinez had a decent run in WWE before she was released by the company. She eventually made her way to AEW and after AEW purchased ROH, she started working there as well.

The former WWE Superstar eventually won the ROH Women’s World Championship after defeating Deonna Purrazzo back in May of this year. This was met with a lot of positive reception.

According to PW Insider, Tony Khan revealed that Mercedes Martinez is currently out of action with an injury. However, it was not revealed what kind of injury she suffered.

This is certainly bad news for AEW as the injury bug continues to have affected the company. We will have to wait and see when the ROH Women’s World Champion will make her return.
