Tony Khan Drops Cryptic Tweet After WWE RAW

AEW President Tony Khan is very passionate about pro wrestling, and no one can doubt that now. He also says things from time to time that end up not being received well by fans.

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW ended with Raquel Rodriquez and Aliyah facing Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals. In the end, Rodriguez and Aliyah became the new champions. That being said, Sasha Banks and Naomi still didn’t return.

Raquel and Aliyah won under controversial circumstances, as Dakota Kai was not the legal opponent when Aliyah pinned her. Thus, this decision was met with a lot of outrage, as they actually ended up winning in an ‘illegal’ way. 

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter after Monday Night RAW went off the air and dropped a cryptic tweet. The Star Trek animated gif included text that said, “This is the turn of luck I’ve been waiting for.”

The tweet is likely referring to how fans reacted to Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky losing to Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah WWE Women’s Tag Team title tournament finals. This happened after AEW’s bad press due to lot of backstage issues. Regardless, some fans are not amused by what Tony Khan tweeted out, but he will always have die-hard supporters.
