Triple H was placed as head of WWE Creative after Vince McMahon retired. Fans celebrated this huge change in many ways as well. He also defended his most controversial decision recently.
This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW ended with Raquel Rodriquez and Aliyah facing Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals. In the end, Rodriguez and Aliyah were the victors.
This decision was met with a lot of outrage, as they actually ended up winning in an ‘illegal’ way. In spite of this, Triple H took to Twitter and congratulated Raquel Rodriquez and Aliyah for their win.
The culmination of a tournament featuring some of the brightest stars from the @WWE and @WWENXT Women’s Divisions. Congratulations to @RaquelWWE and @WWE_Aliyah on their #WWERaw MAIN EVENT win and becoming the NEW Women’s Tag Team Champions!!! #JustTheBeginning
Only time will tell how Triple H books this story, as this is the first time in almost a month a booking decision was on the receiving end of backlash.
