Paige Set To Return To The Ring After WWE Exit

Paige was forced to hang up her pro wrestling boots far too early in 2017. She then became the General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown, among other things, after that. She is no longer in WWE and has a lot to look forward to.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion parted ways with the company last month after WWE decided not to renew her contract. Fans were shocked by this, but it simply opened up a world of opportunities for Paige.

The WAW wrestling promotion recently announced that she will be the guest referee in a match between Zak Zodiac and Roy Knight. The match will take place on October 15th.

@RealPaigeWWE appeared on the screen via live video to announce that she will be special guest referee for their match at #FightmareIV!

Paige also has no intentions of going to AEW anytime soon. The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion might not be wrestling, but special refereeing match is close enough for now. She is also writing an autobiography. We will have to wait and see how Paige’s first appearance will turn out to be.
