A lot of stuff is happening backstage in AEW, and not all of it is good. The promotion is heavily criticized for letting egos run wild. This refers to CM Punk’s promo directed towards former AEW World Champion Adam Page. It appears that there is some sort of drama going about in the women’s division as well.

Voice of Wrestling alluded to resentment towards Thunder Rosa from Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker, with the VOW’s Instant Reaction podcast describing Rosa and Britt Baker as “mortal enemies.”

Hayter’s issues with Rosa seem to have transpired after Rosa inadvertently broke Hayter’s nose during their match for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Battle of the Belts III on August 6th, 2022. Hayter went on to finish the match despite suffering a broken nose.

VOW noted Rosa hid in the bathroom in fear of possible repercussions for giving Jamie Hayter a broken nose during the match. For those not in the know, Rosa relinquished her title due to an injury during Dynamite this week, revealing a fatal-four way match to determine the AEW Interim Women’s World Champion at All Out.

There is a belief that Rosa isn’t, in fact, injured, and she was removed from television only to cool things off in the women’s division. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for La Mera Mera. In the meantime, keep checking back with Ringside News for more information.
