Sammy Guevara worked in major promotions including WWE and Impact Wrestling between 2015 and 2017 before signing to All Elite Wrestling. The record tying three-time former AEW TNT Champion is currently having problems with other AEW stars. Eddie Kingston isn’t the only one who has got problems with Sammy Guevara.

As was previously mentioned, there was a fight in Minneapolis a few weeks ago after a Guevara promo, and when Guevara came backstage and Kingston confronted him, things went physical. The two had to be separated because the star, who is a fan favorite, took issue with something Guevara said about Kingston’s appearance in the promo.

Kingston’s statement on the incident was released after being suspended for several weeks and is anticipated to return to Dynamite the following week. Fightful Select reported that Sammy hadn’t talked to Kingston or gotten his approval for the content of a promo that ended up being cut, which made Kingston angry with Guevara.

Kingston had asked to work with Sammy, who didn’t have people exactly angling to work with him, after his feud with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.

Guevara was required, under rather strict guidelines, to avoid bringing up or participating in his ex-fiancé in any of his feuds and promotional material. At the start of All Out, AEW had intended for Kingston to defeat Guevara. Guevara called Kingston a “fat piece of sh-t” in the edited promo, which Kingston took offence to because he thought it would ruin the match if a “fat piece of sh-t” defeated him.

The crux of the frustration, however, was how Sammy Guevara followed up with this after being perceived as difficult working with Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and Sonjay Dutt in the months prior.

Following that promo, Guevara grinned at Kingston as he yelled at him, to which Kingston responded by turning to face Guevara. As a result, Kingston was suspended for two weeks, which infuriated Sammy. Keep checking back with Ringside News as more information is revealed about this situation.
