Wardlow has been on roll for the past few months, largely due to him getting over with fans. For many observers of AEW, Ward-dog has all the tools to succeed in pro wrestling, including the looks, charisma and in-ring skills. He also has his eyes set on accomplishing big things.

Just like every other wrestler out there, Wardlow has a list of people whom he always wanted to face inside the ring. Sadly, some of those matches could never happen for one reason or another.

While speaking on Afternoon Drive on The Fan, Wardlow was asked about his all-time dream feud. Wardlow explained why he always thought he was going to feud with Triple H one day.

I struggle with this because I can’t think of just one. That’s hard, that’s like asking, ‘what’s your favorite song?’ You have so many favorite songs or favorite movies.

Growing up, the villain to all of my heroes was always Triple H. I loved The Rock, he feuded with The Rock. I loved Jeff Hardy, he feuded with Jeff Hardy. I loved Batista, he feuded with Batista. There is a part of me that always felt like I would go on to be Triple H’s next big feud, one day. I always thought that way.

Wardlow is set for in-ring action at AEW All Out as he will team up with FTR to square off against Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, & Sonjay Dutt. Only time will tell what’s next for the TNT Champion, but he’s not defending his title at the next pay-per-view. He is also not going to get that match against Triple H, because The Game is now retired from in-ring competition.
