AJ Styles is a man who a lot of people would want to work with. It is also possible that a legend or two might even come out of retirement to face him.

Edge came out of retirement and faced AJ Styles after that. The Undertaker also wrestled Styles in his final match, a cinematic Boneyard Match that is now regarded as a cinematic pandemic classic. If The Phenomenal One had it his way, he would have another WWE Hall of Famer to face.

While speaking to Fightful, AJ Styles revealed that he has tried to get Triple H to come out of retirement for a match. Of course, The Game is retired from in-ring competition and his cardiac episode also nixed the chances of a return.

“Well, the last person I tried was Triple H. I didn’t get him. I don’t know who the next guy is or if there will be another one. Now we’ve got the younger talent coming up. Maybe I’m the match that they would like to have. I would like to have some good ones before I retire. Who knows? I don’t know who’s going to be next. None of us do. We’ll just have to see what happens.”

It appears that fans are in for a lot of changes, and we’re still seeing signs of what could take place in the future. For all we know, this change in power might encourage a few legends to come out of retirement.
