WWE Hall Of Famer Edge came back to pro wrestling after a 9-year hiatus during the 2020 Royal Rumble. Since then, he has taken part in numerous feuds over the past couple of years.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Edge and Damian Priest faced each other in the main event of the show. The two had a solid match, as Edge won in the end.

Following the match, Edge was attacked by Judgment Day before Beth Phoenix returned and helped out her husband. Once the show went off the air, Edge cut a promo. He thanked his fans and then revealed his intention to retire from in-ring action when WWE visits Toronto again.

“I can’t wait to hopefully come back one last time here in Toronto. I’ve been looking at the calendar, we usually come here in August. So next August I plan on seeing each and every one of you. And in a perfect world, we all say goodbye to each other that night.”

Of course, Edge could very well change his mind by the time WWE returns to Toronto next year. If he does retire, Edge will have retired as one of the greatest to ever do it, so he will have no regrets.
