Edge formed the Judgement Day faction at WrestleMania 38 as Damian Priest joined up with the Rated R Superstar. Rhea Ripley then joined the faction. However, Edge was then kicked out of the faction as Finn Balor joined them instead.

The Rated R Superstar came back at WWE SummerSlam and cost Judgment Day the match against The Mysterios. Since then, Edge and The Mysterios have continued their feud with the faction.

While speaking with Bleacher Report, Edge confirmed that him being kicked out of Judgment Day was not what WWE had originally planned at all.

“So far, I’ve had a blast going to work and getting to do a storyline with Priest and Balor and Rhea (Ripley). It was kind of floating there for a little while. Now, it’s getting a direction and that’s really, really fun. We had to make some changes due to injuries and stuff like that, and you just have to adapt.”
