Charlotte Flair Claims Infamous Belt Drop During WWE Title Exchange Was Accidental

Many fans are aware of the fact that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch’s relationship is not really good right now. In fact, they got into verbal confrontation with Becky Lynch last year on Smackdown. Now, The Queen is speaking on the matter.

This was preceded by the two throwing their titles at each other during the title exchange, which was not part of the script. Becky Lynch already opened up about the backstage confrontation with Charlotte Flair. Even Charlotte Flair said that she felt like the only adult in her feud with Becky Lynch.

While speaking on Steve Austin’s “The Broken Skull Sessions,” Charlotte Flair talked about the infamous title exchange segment. She claimed that the belt drop was accidental.

“You’ve got two women that want to be the best, that want to be that top spot.

I wish I could sit here and tell you that I did it on purpose, but if people need me to be that bad guy, I’ll be that bad guy. Things happen onscreen. I would never go on a scripted television show and purposely do something on purpose. It was accidental.”

Even Becky Lynch previously stated that her relationship with Charlotte Flair has not improved. We wonder if the two will ever be able to mend their relationship.
