Renee Paquette worked with WWE for eight years until she parted ways with the company back in the Summer of 2020. She left the company after FOX’s WWE Backstage show was cancelled. She also recalled Vince McMahon yelling into her ear.
Since then, Paquette has kept herself busy with numerous projects, both personal and professional. This includes her giving birth to her daughter and her going through various changes in life.
Being part of the commentary team, she knows how it was like working with Vince McMahon. While speaking on “The Sessions With Renee Paquette,” Renee Paquette stated that she had trouble understanding Vince McMahon when he was yelling into her ear.
”There was times that Vince would for sure be in my ear, but I’ll tell you what was really rough about that was hearing him. There were so many times where I’m like, ‘Could you repeat that again?’ Like, I just couldn’t hear him. I don’t know if that was a me problem, I don’t know if it was him mumbling, but there were definitely times where he was talking to me, but I could not tell you what he was trying to get me to say.
He kind of gave me sh*t for something … I can’t remember what — I think it might have been during a Firefly Funhouse bit, which is a mouthful, to begin with.”
Paquette is busy with other things in her life right now. With McMahon having retired last month, we wonder if she will decide to return to WWE somewhere down the line.
