Mickie James has worked hard to establish herself as one of the best female pro wrestlers in the history of the business. James was released by WWE back in April last year, and then she promptly made her way to NWA and then Impact Wrestling. She also isn’t sure about her pro wrestling future.
Recently, the pro wrestling legend hinted at retiring from pro wrestling when asked about teaming up with a WWE star. She would then elaborate on her answer.
While speaking to MYTV26 at Stocktoncon, Mickie James was asked what is next for her. James made it clear that she is not sure about her pro wrestling future.
“I don’t know. I’m a mom, my son is eight this year. I think I’ll always do stuff with wrestling, in some capacity. I enjoy doing things like this [conventions], it’s a way to reconnect with fans. I don’t really know what’s next, that’s the beauty of it.”
Mickie James is advertised to face Lizzy Evo at 1PW on October 1. She last competed on the July 14th episode of Impact Wrestling. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Mickie James.
