Seth Rollins has accomplished a lot during his time in WWE, as he is a multi-time world champion and has been part of solid feuds as well. Rollins has become one of the most dependable people in all of WWE now. Road Dogg also made an interesting claim about Rollins recently.
When The Shield was split up in 2014 after Rollins turned on the group, it was clear that Rollins was viewed as the top star that year as he got a massive push. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose got their world title runs later.
While speaking The Wrestling Outlaws, Road Dogg discussed why Seth Rollins was chosen as the superstar who would break up The Shield. He came that Rollins’ special relationship with Triple H could have been the reason for his push.
“I don’t remember why he was chosen to be honest. But I do remember that he and Hunter had a special relationship from NXT, from the beginning. So I don’t know if he said he might be the guy.
The Visionary will remain a highlight on WWE television no matter what he does in the end. He is currently feuding with Matt Riddle, so we will have to wait and see how their feud will develop in the coming weeks.
