With Triple H now in charge of WWE creative, some believe talents such as Adam Cole, Malakai Black, and others could return to WWE. AEW President Tony Khan has stated that those who have emerged in the company over the past several months have signed contracts that stretch past five years. Still, it didn’t rid any rumors of WWE potentially buying out those former NXT names’ contracts.

Khan seemed to set the record straight during his appearance on Busted Open Radio earlier this morning. The AEW president shot down the reports of himself allegedly working with WWE on a possible deal to have former NXT talent return to the company.

I don’t know if this was meant to be taken seriously but it was by a person who claims they break real news, that I’m in negotiations, allegedly, with WWE about them buying out wrestlers contracts and stuff and it’s just like completely fake reports that people put in the world.

Of course, this won’t stop the rumors from spreading. Triple H has already brought back many former NXT names, such as Dakota Kai and Dexter Lumis. While the chances of former NXT names like Cole, Black, Keith Lee, and others showing up on Raw within the next week are slim, there will be people who believe otherwise.
