Matt Cardona’s In-Ring Return Officially Announced

Matt Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, and he worked hard to establish himself in the company. Cardona was insanely over in WWE at one point in time, but he never quite reached his full potential. Since his release from the company, Cardona hit the ground running, but an injury set him back. Matt Cardona’s in-ring return has been announced, so Broskis all over will rejoice.

As previously reported, Matt Cardona was injured at GCW Downward Spiral. Matt Cardona would end up confirming he will need bicep surgery. Cardona was the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion, but relinquished the title back at NWA Alwayz Ready.

Cardona previously stated that he is almost 100% regarding his recovery. NWA’s Twitter account officially announced that Matt Cardona will be making his return at NWA 74. It will take place on August 27th this year.

We will have to wait and see what NWA will have planned for Matt Cardona, now that he will be returning to in-ring action later this month. He is certainly making the most of his post WWE career, and we have to give him all the credit in the world for that.
