You never know what can happen in the pro wrestling ring, and that includes injuries. Matt Cardona was on a roll, but now he must slow down after an injury.

It was previously reported that Cardona believed that he injured his arm at GCW Downward Spiral. He logged onto social media on Tuesday morning to confirm that injury did go down and now surgery is needed. It’s unclear how long he will be out of action, but some dates will need cancelled.

Got a MRI today. Biceps is torn. Surgery needed. Will unfortunately need to cancel some dates.

We’ll have to see what Cardona does about all those belts he has picked up on the indies. He will have to pay a lot of postage to get them all back their rightful owners. He was also making big plans for the future, but now a recovery from surgery must take priority.

Hopefully, Cardona is able to get healed up soon and return to action. In the meantime, this won’t stop his constant quest to pick up new toys and show them off online.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
