WWE fans have been witnessing the dawn of a new era. After decades in charge, Vince McMahon’s retirement caused major shake-up on both the corporate and creative sides of the company. Many are already noticing some huge differences.

Those changes are also being seen by the talent backstage. WWE superstars have expressed a renewed sense of optimism about the creative direction of the company since Triple H took over. This week’s episode of Raw was a prime example.

Sean Sapp spoke to several wrestlers for a report behind Fightful’s paywall. The positivity has been flowing in the WWE locker room. There has not been a single complaint about Vince McMahon no longer being a part of the creative team.

“There was a lot of positivity coming out of the show regarding both Ciampa and Mustafa Ali being put in good spots where they could shine on the show. A top wrestler outside WWE also noticed the increased focus on the women’s division.

This is a stark contrast from just weeks ago, but especially post-Royal Rumble in January after a chaotic scene that left many unhappy. Thus far, after speaking to over two dozen talent, we’ve not had anyone raise particular concerns within the roster about Vince McMahon no longer being in creative, which speaks volumes.”

The wrestling world has not gone without Vince McMahon for a very long time. Now that he’s gone, things seem to have instantly improved. Fans will have to wait and see how things go, but the WWE superstars believe Triple H is off to a fantastic start.
