Becky Lynch Will Be Out Several Months With Shoulder Injury

Becky Lynch separated her shoulder during the Raw Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam 2022, but continued to perform from bell to bell even after the painful injury.

Lynch opened this week’s Raw to reveal the extent of her injury. Lynch wore an arm sling to the ring. She confirmed she did separate her shoulder during the match with Bianca at SummerSlam.

Sean Sapp reported from behind his paywall that Lynch’s injury affected creative plans for her to some degree. Lynch was attacked by Control after she returned backstage on Raw this week.

“So far, the next steps aren’t known, but we’re told it did affect creative to some degree. When we asked, we weren’t given a timetable on her return, and were even told it was 50/50 on possibly needing surgery to fix it.”

It was later noted that, “after tonight’s attack on RAW exacerbated a separated shoulder suffered at Summerslam, Becky Lynch is expected to be out several months.”

WWE announced that Lynch will be out of action after she was jumped by Bayley, Io Sky and Dakota Kai this week on Raw. Keep reading Ringside News for more on Becky Lynch’s condition.
