The match between Rollins and Riddle was initially scheduled for the event, but it was cancelled after WWE claimed that Riddle had sustained an injury. After Riddle announced that he was injured, sources claimed that the injury was kayfabe and that the match had been postponed because of “creative modifications.”
According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Rollins was excused from Friday’s scheduled media appearances. No explanation for Rollins’ removal from media was given. Additionally, it is yet unknown if he will be kept on the card.
Seth Rollins was pulled from media obligations on Friday.
As was previously mentioned, Rollins was seen on Friday in Nashville working at the WWE tryouts. If Rollins still has a match scheduled for the event, speculation about who he will face has run riot. There have been rumors about people like Dolph Ziggler and top free agent Johnny Gargano. Nothing has been verified as of yet.
