Austin Theory has worked hard to make himself one of the young and rising talent in all of WWE. He got his foot at the door thanks to Johnny Gargano’s stable, The Way, in NXT. Dolph Ziggler also mocked WWE fans for hypocrisy over Austin Theory’s booking.

Theory then went on to win the Men’s Money In The Bank match and shocked everyone around the world. He even made history after winning the match.

Many fans were displeased with Theory becoming Mr. Money In The Bank as they felt someone more deserving should have gotten it. While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Dolph Ziggler mocked WWE fans for demanding young stars in the past but suddenly disliked the idea when Theory started getting pushed.

“Everyone was like (before 2018) ‘Can we get some new guys? Can we get some new stars? Can we get the IC title in the main event?’ And we got it, and the crowd crapped on it… When we have like Theory making a name for himself, becoming the Mr. Money in the Bank, they’re like ‘Can we get some new stars? Well not this guy.”

RVD also believes it’s Austin Theory’s time to shine in WWE. He is also set to challenge Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship at SummerSlam. We’ll have to see whether he will win back his title or not.
