The Absolute One successfully defended his FTW Championship against Danhausen on Dynamite’s Fight for the Fallen TV special. Starks, however, lost the title to Hook in an impromptu match.

Stars cut an incredible promo after the match. He said he had been putting in the work day in and day out and that nobody could argue that he elevated the FTW Championship.

Starks was in the middle of his promo when Hobbs turned his back on his partner. The big man attacked Starks from behind and laid him out with a vicious spinebuster. It looks like the beginning of Starks’ solo run.
