Britt Baker Really Wants A Match With AJ Lee In AEW

Britt Baker has worked very hard to improve herself and become one of the best female wrestlers in AEW. It was a slow and gradual process, as fans initially rejected her entirely. She also really wants a match with AJ Lee.

The good doctor has squared off against top female stars all over the world. Recently, she called out former WWE Superstar Paige for match as well

Baker still has a list of other female competitors she wants to face off against in the ring. While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, Britt Baker was asked if she sees a match between herself and AJ Lee. Baker made it clear she would love for that match to happen.

“I think you have to ask her that, not me. I think I would love to see AJ Lee in the ring again. She did so much for women’s wrestling and I think there’s so much more that she can do, even if she doesn’t know that there are so many girls that still look up to her, myself included.

Now I see myself on an even playing field as her, I think I could – I feel like I could be better than AJ. So, let’s get in the ring and see! I would love for her to come out of retirement, I would love for her to be in an AEW ring, I would love to possibly have a tag match.”

CM Punk also recently hinted at Jade Cargill bringing AJ Lee out of retirement. It remains to be seen whether AJ Lee will ever make her return to the squared circle one day.
