Jay Lethal is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling after competing for over twenty years now. He established himself as one of the stars of the X-Division in TNA, and then became one of the top talents in ROH as well. Tony Khan was also blasted for wasting all of Jay Lethal’s potential.

Lethal then shocked the world as he made his debut at AEW Full Gear last year. Jim Cornette even previously stated that Tony Khan finally did something right by signing Jay Lethal to AEW. He even blasted WWE for letting AEW sign Jay Lethal in the first place

However, Jay Lethal has not had the best of times in AEW. He did have high profile matches against Cody Rhodes and Jon Moxley and is now aligned with Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh.

While speaking on Keepin’ it 100, Disco Inferno criticized AEW for underutilizing Jay Lethal by not having him cut more promos and giving him a proper push.

“It’s very clear that he’s being underutilized in AEW. We’ve been saying that for a while about him. He’s a professional talker, he’s very good in the ring and he’s… he is. He’s being underutilized.”

Jay Lethal challenged Samoa Joe for the ROH World TV Title at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor. However, he was unable to beat Joe for the title. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Lethal.
