Sami Zayn has worked in WWE for well over 8 years now and has been part of several important moments in the company’s history. He went from being a beloved underdog babyface to an insufferable conspiracy theorist and fans enjoyed both his gimmicks.
The Bloodline has become the most dominant faction in the entire company. For a long time now, Sami Zayn is now on a mission to be part of The Bloodline as well. He is now considered an honorary uce by the faction.
As seen on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Zayn confronted Austin Theory and it was observed that Zayn had his arm in a sling during the segment. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sami Zayn is legitimately injured and will be out of action for the next few weeks.
“(Sami) Zayn had his arm in a sling on Smackdown on 7/15. The injury is legit but it’s not major and they are hopeful of him being able to wrestle in a few weeks.”
Zayn hasn’t wrestled since competing in the Money in the Bank ladder match. We’ll have to wait and see when he will be given the green light to compete inside the squared circle again.
