Cody Rhodes faced off against Seth Rollins in the main event of Hell In A Cell. The American Nightmare understood the importance of the match and was not going to miss it at any cost. He also isn’t optimistic about a quick return.

Despite suffering from a legit torn pectoral muscle, Rhodes managed to compete in the match and put on a true 5* classic along with The Visionary. He would then undergo surgery for his injury.

While speaking with Comicbook, Rhodes talked about his injury. Rhodes made it clear he isn’t optimistic about a quick return.

I want to say good but it’s misleading. It’s not like ACLs or PCLs or anything where your life changes completely for a while. After two weeks you feel like you’re normal, but you’re not. It’s just tied to your bone on your arm and you have to let it actually form.”
