Cody Rhodes faced off against Seth Rollins in the main event of Hell In A Cell. The American Nightmare understood the importance of the match and was not going to miss it at any cost. He also isn’t optimistic about a quick return.

Despite suffering from a legit torn pectoral muscle, Rhodes managed to compete in the match and put on a true 5* classic along with The Visionary. He would then undergo surgery for his injury.

While speaking with Comicbook, Rhodes talked about his injury. Rhodes made it clear he isn’t optimistic about a quick return.

I want to say good but it’s misleading. It’s not like ACLs or PCLs or anything where your life changes completely for a while. After two weeks you feel like you’re normal, but you’re not. It’s just tied to your bone on your arm and you have to let it actually form.”

WWE might also be presenting Cody Rhodes as the face of the company now. Cody Rhodes is expected to be out of action for several months. We’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for Rhodes once he is back.
