Ric Flair Personally Thanked Vince McMahon For Putting Him Back In WWE Opening Video Package

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has accomplished lot of things in his illustrious pro wrestling career. Flair remains a controversial figure thanks to his numerous escapades over the years. He also personally thanked Vince McMahon for a good reason.

Last year, Vice’s Dark Side of the Ring aired the second part of their third season that focused on The Plane Ride From Hell. Ric Flair was removed from WWE’s opening video package as his ‘woo’ was edited out.

However, WWE would bring back Ric Flair in the opening video package recently. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Flair revealed that he personally thanked Vince McMahon for putting him back in the opening video package.

“I went and saw Vince yesterday [Monday] to personally thank him because they were in Tampa. It made me feel like my world had changed again. It made me feel a lot better than when they took me off. Everything Vince McMahon has ever said to me has come true and he said, ‘I promise you I’ll put you back on it,’ and he did. I went over there and thanked him.”

There is also concern about his health ahead of his final match. We will have to wait and see how Ric Flair will fare in the final match of his long, illustrious career.
