Paige Confirms Huge Change After WWE Exit

Paige had to retire after she was kicked from the back by Sasha Banks during 2017 WWE MSG Show. That worsened an already career-threatening neck issue. She then became the General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown, among other things. Now that she’s no longer with WWE, things are going to change a bit for the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion.

Paige announced that she would be parting ways with WWE this month. This is because WWE chose not to re-sign her. Paige penned an emotional letter to WWE on the last day of her contract, and now she is free to do whatever she wants to.

A fan asked whether WWE was going to make her give up her old handle. Paige revealed that she will change up her handle.

Paige is excited to see her journey after WWE. Many believe she might just make her way to AEW, so we’ll have to wait and see if that will happen or not.
