Kurt Angle is WWE Hall of Famer and a legend on many levels. Naturally, he also has quite a captivating and dynamic story. Now fans will have a chance to get another take on his legendary life.
The Olympic Hero recently appeared on his podcast to reveal that WWE has obtained the rights to make a documentary on his life. This came up when talking about Jason Jordan’s career, who is currently working as producer in WWE.
Angle discussed the plot on the latest Kurt Angle podcast on AdFreeShows.com, in which it was discovered that Jordan was his illegitimate son. Angle also addressed what was intended to be the payoff and Jason’s opinions on everything.
Angle further mentioned the forthcoming A&E show “Biography,” which will debut on July 31st at 8 p.m. Eastern. He said that WWE purchased the rights to his documentary on his life.
“The WWE bought the show from us, the documentary. They changed it up a little bit and made it a little more pro wrestling oriented. But we made a deal with them that this will air on Peacock next year.”
“They actually added more WWE stuff to it. So the one next year on Peacock will be more about my personal life growing up and before the WWE, so it’s a really well-rounded documentary.”
We will have to see how this documentary turns out. There are certainly a lot of options available when it comes to the narrative they want to tell. Odds are they will do a good job making Kurt Angle look good seeing how he has since repaired all those burned bridges.
