WWE fans in Philadelphia will be treated to the annual Extreme Rules event on October 8. The home of hardcore will get a taste of WWE’s brand of extreme for a big premium live event. One major star is missing from the early promotional materials, however.

WWE released the first promotional material for the upcoming show today. The graphic features Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and Riddle. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is not being advertised to appear.

As always, the card is subject to change. WWE could add Roman Reigns to the show if that’s the direction they decide to take. For now, it doesn’t look like Roman will be there.

Roman Reigns has several appearances scheduled throughout the Summer. Most of them are television tapings. Reigns will appear at SmackDown on July 22 in Boston followed by Raw at Madison Square Garden on the 25th. Those both lead up to his last man standing match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Reigns are also being advertised for a couple of SmackDown appearances in August as well as a live event in Ottawa on August 20. His new limited schedule means he hasn’t been at the last two premium live events. Extreme Rules does not seem to be an exception at this point.

Tickets for Extreme Rules are on sale now with the presale code TWEETS. A lot can happen between now and October, but at this time, Reigns is not being featured in the promotional materials for the show. The WWE Universe will have their next opportunity to see him compete in Nashville on July 30.
