Keith Lee Posts Cryptic Tweet After Getting Bad News

Keith Lee is scheduled to team up with Swerve Strickland to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. His team will take on the Young Bucks and Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs in a “Triple or Nothing” match for the titles. One day before the bout, Keith Lee shared a cryptic post on Twitter.

The post insinuates that something is going on with people close to Keith Lee. He said that he received some bad news today. He did not elaborate on the nature of the news.

Lee said that no matter the outcome of his title match, he’s dedicating it to his “two brothers.” He went on to say that is all he can do until he returns. He may be taking some time off, or could possibly be referring to returning to his brothers.

“Got some very much less than stellar news today…. No matter the results, tomorrow’s match belongs to my two brothers. It’s all I can do until I return. Love you boys.”

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite is the first of two weeks of Fyter Fest. Along with the scheduled tag title match, Wardlow will defend the TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy. Jon Moxley will take on Konosuke Takeshita in an AEW Interim World Championship Eliminator match.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Keith Lee. He was vague in his post, but it sounds like his heart is somewhere else at the moment. Hopefully, everything works out for The Limitless One.
