Many fans would agree that WWE’s product has fallen a lot when it comes to quality. The current product has a lot of flaws including 50/50 booking, feuds that don’t go anywhere, teams splitting up for no reason and storylines not making sense. Vince Russo also made an interesting claim recently.

The disinterest of the fans is reflected in the dwindling ratings of Monday Night RAW over the past few years. In fact, there seems to be no sign of improvement in that regard.

While speaking on Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo talked about WWE’s decline in ratings. He accused WWE of focusing on their streaming service in order to avoid criticism of their ratings.

“Bro I think they want to go to a streaming service because if they go to a streaming service, there’s no such thing as ratings anymore and the ratings are what killed the WWE. Everytime the ratings is brought up, they can’t defend that.

They would love that to go away, that goes away if you hook on with a streaming service, there are no ratings with HULU and Amazon Prime and all that. I think that’s the route they wanna go but again bro, with the current situation, how many suitors are there going to be man?”

Vince McMahon is notorious for ripping up scripts all the time and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. Regardless, WWE’s dwindling ratings are a problem but the company continues to earn a ton of money in the end.
