Zoey Stark Expected To Return From Injury Soon

Zoey Stark has been out of action for significant amount of time. The NXT star competed in a ladder match where they lost the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships to Toxic Attraction back in October. Shortly after, she had to have knee surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus after Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolan attacked her.

Stark spent the past several months rehabbing to try and get back into the ring. After a couple of months on crutches, she was able to begin the long process of recovery. It appears Zoey Stark is now closer than ever to a return.

Dave Meltzer discussed Zoey Stark’s current status in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Zoey should be returning soon. NXT creative is already talking about plans for her once she’s back.

It looks like it’s just a matter of time before Zoey Stark is wrestling again. The former women’s tag champ will return to a vastly different NXT landscape than the one she left. Toxic Attraction no longer controls all the titles in the women’s division, Zoey might be out for revenge against Gigi and Jacy.

Time will tell when Zoey Stark is back on NXT television. It sounds like it could be any time. After a long recovery, she is likely to be very excited to get back to work.
