Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have competed all over the world in numerous companies, further improving themselves. They are the ROH, IWGP and AAA Tag Team Champions and proudly represent themselves as such. Dax Harwood also threw shade at WWE for a good reason.

FTR was known as The Revival in WWE and saw great success in NXT as the NXT Tag Team Champions. They faced several great teams, including American Alpha and DIY. It was clear that the two were not happy in the company anymore.

After being underutilized far too much on the main roster, they were finally granted their release by WWE back in 2020 and eventually made their way to AEW.

While speaking with Culture State, Dax Harwood talked about the current state of tag team wrestling. He also threw shade at WWE for putting tag team wrestling on the back burner.

“For so long, tag team wrestling has been on the back burner, because one company, for the last 20 or 30 years or whatever it is … always focused on singles wrestling.

So the tag team guys would attempt to outshine their partners because they were just focused on themselves. That’s selfish, but sometimes you gotta be selfish in this business. For us, we wanted to completely change that.”

We will have to wait and see what AEW has planned next for FTR, as they certainly have a lot of momentum going for them right now.
